Grahamstown NOW Popular Chirps

Rhodes students please be more considerate by walking quickly over the pedestrian crossings in Somerset Street. Some students are plain spiteful and walk slowly at their pace chatting in groups. We are working parents with a 45 min. lunch having to collect/drop off our children at school.

Why is Grahamstown always neglected over the "Festive Season" by not having any nice christmas lights to show our children? Is it because our christmas lights is normally on during the "Festival"?

The pavements in Cradock Heights area looks awfull especially from Somerset Place. Over a period of time the contractors, municipality, Telkom etc. has been digging trenches for pypes and just left it, hoping the weeds/grass will grow over it. The pavements is so uneven that people who like to take walks have to walk along side the road. Surely if it is flat it will be easier to cut the grass. Who is responsible for the maintaining of pavements?
